Everything That’s Interesting is New presents the Dakis Joannou Collection, which includes over two hundred works by approximately one hundred artists. The collection provides a focused overview of contemporary art from 1985 to 1995 and also includes well known pieces by early and mid-twentieth century artists, such as Marcel Duchamp, Francis Picabia and Man Ray, who have been especially influential for the current generation. Many of the most influential artists of the 1980s and 1990s such as Katharina Fritsch, Robert Gober, Mike Kelley, Jeff Koons and Kiki Smith are represented by some of their most significant works. The collection also includes works important works by some of the key figures in Pop, Minimal and Conceptual Art and Arte Povera.

The exhibition catalogue, designed by Richard Pandiscio, documents every major work in the collection and includes texts and statements provided by the artists themselves.
